Our Vision:

Sustainable and Local

As friends, we came together to fulfill a need in our community for locally-roasted coffee, rural art enrichment, and functional ceramics with minimal design.

Our vision at Cōppa Cō is to be a cultural gathering point for our region to celebrate coffee, art, and ceramics, as well as to invite others worldwide to enhance their homes with sustainable and beautiful pottery and to be beacon for the arts in their community.

  • Sustainably sourced and locally roasted coffee beans create our smooth in-house brews, hand-crafted lattes and specialty drinks.

We partner with New Day Coffee Roasters in North Tonawanda, NY to bring high quality coffee to our rural community in Houghton, New York. Come down our way and take a sip!

  • Art enrichment in our rural community is the heart and soul of Cōppa Cō.

We serve our community by offering pottery classes, open ceramic studio memberships, and art gallery. Nestled in the heart of beautiful Alleghany County, our doors are open to all: young and old, novice and master.

Our students and members gain access to a working pottery studio, learn new skills, and develop art appreciation, while forming connections with other artists and building up local arts in our region.

  • Handmade for your home, our line of ceramic goods seamlessly elevate and inspire elegance with their minimal and functional design.

Human hands touch every part of the process from our hand-thrown Birdie Yarn Bowls to our hand-poured travel mugs. Join us on our mission to make sustainable, meaningful, and beautiful ceramic pieces accessible to all.

Love, love, love this coffee shop and gallery! Perfect place to go to while we’re vacationing on Rushford Lake. Super friendly owner and staff. GREAT coffee, delicious baked goods, and they have beautiful pottery and paintings for sale. 1000% would recommend to anyone!
